Yes I know this is something of a departure from the recent subject matter found here on London Mummy but I really do feel this issue needs highlighting and support.
One of the mums in my local neighbourhood has set up a petition which she intends to hand in to Downing Street.
Basically she has two children, one of whom is five and has a weakened immune system. When she asked her GP to give him the swine flu vaccine, it was refused on the basis that he has no underlying health problems. If you believe that the vaccine should be made available to all children, then please take about thirty seconds to sign Karen's online petition - if you would prefer not to have your name published online, you can still sign the petition but your name will not be published.
